Employment Enterprises, Inc.

Our Story

Employment Enterprises, Inc. (EE, Inc.) is a full-service strategic workforce solutions and talent management company. As a 100% woman-owned company and certified Small-Women Owned business with 37 years in business, we leverage the expertise and best practices that span the entire employment lifecycle. This includes current and reliable recruitment practices and programs, skill and interview assessments, and cloud-based onboarding and timekeeping tools.

Our mission is to Strengthen Your Workforce and our expertise is reflected in our 97 percent client retention rate and our capacity to conduct business in all 50 states.

EE, Inc. is the parent company to Temporary Solutions, Inc. (TS, Inc.) and Checks and Balances, Inc. (C&B, Inc.).

Despite the company’s aggressive drive for growth, we have maintained the same family atmosphere that it had in the firm's beginning. This shines true with an average 15-year tenure in our service team. Ultimately, our goal is to move beyond the typical client/vendor role into a strategic partnership where communication encourages shared problem resolution and this results in long-term cost savings.

Corporate Social Responsibilities

Education: We believe in the power of the next generation. From our entry-level staff to our President, we make every effort to support local education providers and the students they grow:

  • Lovey Hammel, our Co-Founder and President and George Mason University alum, chaired the Presidential Search Committee for George Mason University in 2011. Ms. Hammel’s ongoing support to George Mason University resulted in the receipt of the school’s prestigious Mason Medal in 2012.
  • On behalf of Employment Enterprises, Inc., we supply a scholarship to George Mason University each year to support incoming freshman.
  • The Student Venture Fund at George Mason University was created by Lovey Hammel to increase the amount of the awards for the annual Business Plan Competition. It helps to provide money, training, and mentorship for a team of students to explore ideas for business products and services in partnership with the Mason faculty, business leaders, investors, and successful entrepreneurs.
  • We have long-standing relationships with several Washington, D.C. metropolitan area universities to provide staffing help, including a focus on proctors.

Veteran Hiring: Training, connecting, and helping veterans find jobs is at the forefront of our corporate social responsibility goals.  Each year, thousands of veterans re-enter the civilian workforce with resumes full of military acronyms and experience that doesn’t translate to civilian jobs, leading to a high unemployment rate for these deserving individuals. Our company is dedicated to assisting our veterans through this rocky transition.

Environment: In 2013, we decided to forgo the holiday cards and gifts and instead started our partnership with the Fairfax County Restoration Project, which focuses on community action to replenish the local ecosystem. We've contributed a gift that will last a lifetime: the gift of trees. A single $35 contribution towards the Reforest Fairfax Tree Gifting Program means that five native trees will be planted in Fairfax County.

We also transitioned to an e-solutions environment that allows for electronic onboarding for Checks and Balances, Inc. and Temporary Solutions, Inc. As another component of this initiative, our onboarding, I-9 information and verification processes are done via e-solutions. The reception from both our employees and clients has been overwhelmingly positive, and we plan to implement more environmentally-friendly initiatives in the years to come.
