Prince William County is ranked #13 among counties nationwide for job growth from 2000 – 2010 by CNN Money. During that time period, according to money.cnn.com, Prince William County experienced a job growth rate of more than 40 percent, with the growth rate increasing more than 7 percent between 2009 and 2010. The ranking is featured in the magazine’s annual Where the Jobs Are list, which ranked Prince William County #17 in 2010 and #23 in 2008.

Prince William has now received AAA status from all three of the major credit ratings agencies (Fitch, Moody’s and S&P) – a measure that only 72 out of the 17,669 (or 0.4%) local governments throughout the country have achieved.
